Urban Arrow Shorty

The ideal compact cargo bike

from €4131.40 excl. VAT

The urban arrow shorty is an electric cargo bike with pedal assist, perfect for commuting. It allows you to transport your groceries, laptop, or heavier items like tools and materials easily and safely. This e-bike can be customized with various accessories.

Thanks to the stepless gear hub, wide tires, and electric assistance from a Bosch motor, the bike offers exceptional comfort. Its low center of gravity and maneuverability make it accessible and easy to handle for everyone.

The range varies between 50 and 70 km, depending on the load you’re carrying and the level of assistance you use.

Product information

Cargo or performance?

The difference between the Shorty Cargo Line and the Shorty Performance Line lies in the Bosch motor. The mid-drive motor of the Shorty Cargo Line delivers a power output of 85Nm, while the motor of the Shorty Performance Line provides 65Nm. Thanks to its more powerful motor, the Shorty Cargo Line is better suited for heavier loads compared to the Shorty Performance Line.

Range

With a 500Wh battery, the bike can achieve a range of approximately 50-70 kilometers under ideal conditions on a single charge. For heavier use or hilly terrain, the range may be lower, around 30-50 kilometers. The range of the Shorty Cargo Line will be slightly less than the Shorty Performance Line due to its higher power output, which demands more from the battery.

Variants

Urban Arrow offers several variants of the Shorty. You can easily configure your ideal Shorty using Urban Arrow’s configurator, where you can also add accessories.

Once you receive the configuration via email, please forward it to us at willem@cargobikes.nl, and we’ll get in touch to review it with you. If you have any questions, feel free to call us at +31 6 20 61 44 69.

Powder Coating the Frame

It is possible to have your bike frame powder-coated in your preferred color. This is only available in RAL colors. We will include a price for this in your quote.

The estimated cost for powder coating is around €900.00 excl. VAT, depending on the bike model, number of bikes, and specific requests.

Once the quote is approved, we will need the RAL color code to proceed. We will dismantle the frame and send it to our powder-coating specialist. Expect a turnaround time of approximately three weeks to receive the frame back. After that, we need two more weeks to fully reassemble the bike. We’ll notify you when the bike is ready so we can arrange delivery or pickup.

GPS Tracker

Branding your bike or cargo box significantly helps prevent theft. In addition, we offer GPS trackers with theft recovery services.

We provide a Loqater GPS tracker (KIWA-certified) for €107.00 excl. VAT, including installation.
A subscription for connectivity and theft tracking is required at €60.00 excl. VAT per year.

In case of theft, you can report it to Loqater, who will track and recover the bike. They have a 97% success rate in retrieving stolen bikes.

They were super inviting and friendly, showed us around and we had a great time. This was the best buying experience I ever had in any bikeshop. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a competent seller and a good deal on used cargobikes.
